Oude Wellington is a cozy restaurant in a thatched, working brandy distillery, dating back to 1795. With fireplaces for winter and outdoor seating under the oaks overlooking the vineyards in summer, friendly staff awaits you at Oude Wellington.
Chef-Patron John Tecklenburg and his wife Susanna offers honest country flair with a twist, emphasis on fresh seasonal ingredients, fish, game and “out of the garden” dishes. Oude Wellington was voted one of the Wine Magazine’s Top 100 Restaurants and was given 4-star gourmet status by Portfolio of Places.
Wines from the Oude Wellington Estate, as well as the prized potstill brandy and Grappa are on offer in the restaurant. Other selected award winning estates wines are also present on the wine list.
